	Founder Director KARIN
Karin picked up the hiking bug in university, but didn't really do too much until the mountains of Vancouver drew her in. She spent a number of years in Calgary and was a very active volunteer with the Calgary Outdoor Club, before going back to the coast earlier this year. She's most at peace outside, between the sea and the mountains. She's been running on-and-off since grade seven and worked at a freakishly successful running store on Denman in Vancovuer as a clerk and clinic instructor, but likes the ease and atmosphere of Outdoor Club run groups better (much more welcoming). She's run several half marathons, and finally a full marathon, Chicago!, in Oct 2008. Karin frequently rows and kayaks on the coast. In early 2009, she moved back to Vancouver and decided to start the Vancouver Outdoor Club based on her experiences with the COC. 	Photo Historian Marg (Calgary)
Marg lives in Calgary and has been an enthusiastic member of the Calgary Outdoor Club since 2004. The potential opportunities and website functionality quickly convinced her to become an event coordinator and now assists with Photo Historian duties as well. Marg wants to spend more time out in the Vancouver area so offered to assist VROC while at the same time taking note of all the best places to visit. Hidden agenda? Nah! ;-) She's very excited to hear that VROC has been launched -- all the best Karin and looking forward to meeting all the terrific vroc members in the near future :) As our Photo Historian, Marg is responsible for: Photo Album Management: Managing our Fotki albums, and posting photos submitted by club members. 	Founder Webmaster Rhonda Scheurer
Rhonda was the founder of the Calgary Outdoor Club and has helped found a few other clubs in our Outdoor Club family, including Toronto and Calgary. Vancouver came online in early 2009 after long-time COC volunteer, Karin, moved to Vancouver. Rhonda's involvement with the VOC was originally as an advisor and someone to help share the workload while the Vancouver club gets started. She now helps out as the club's Webmaster, responsible for: * Updating content on static informational pages on web site * Updating web site options for site formatting and functioning * Updating announcements on club home page * Creating and updating club e-mail addresses/forwarders * Updating volunteer credentials, photos and bios as required. * Answering e-mail inquiries sent to webmaster@vancouverregionaloutdoorclub.com See Upcoming Events or Past Events being coordinated by Rhonda Scheurer.

	Event Coordinator Bill C
Another Calgary Outdoor club transplant who finally relocated back to the West Coast where I spent most of my youth. In semi retirement by choice so have lots of time to play now. I try and work out every day at the gym plus got into yoga a couple of years ago. In the summer I like to golf, play tennis, hike, walk, ride my bike and recently took up kayaking. I also scuba/snorkel when I get the chance but prefer warm waters like the tropics. Outdoor winter sports seem to be limited to snow shoeing and look forward to exploring all the trails around Vancouver. See Upcoming Events or Past Events being coordinated by Bill C.

	Event Coordinator zeljkok
Jack moved to Vancouver in October 2008 after several years coordinating for COC in Calgary. Lifelong outdoors fan and trekking enthusiast Jack is looking forward to explore great Pacific Northwest Outdoors. In shoulder season and winter Jack plans to organize hikes in North Shore Mountains, while summers are reserved for hikes/scrambles in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton area.
