Itinerary:
6-7km, 535m
I will be coming from Alice Lake campground & will meet the group at Shannon Falls Parking Lot with my Boxer dog. If someone wants to volunteer to organize a carpool from Vancouver, that would be great as I could send carpool instructions to all the participants. We'll follow the trail past Shannon Falls and up the steady climb to the First Peak only.
Be aware that there may be minor scrambling (without exposure), and the Peak/viewpoint is spacious but exposed. Those afraid of heights can stay back, but the bold can sit right up to the cliff edge. Any one with dogs must have them leashed, (Harness preferably), due to the cliff dangers. As I have never done this with my dog, I'm hoping to be able to find an easy enough route with him.
