Itinerary:
~5km, little elevation change.

Meet at Lighthouse Park parking lot. Hike in a clockwise direction, through the forest & catch several of the view points along the way.

We can take a snack break near the lighthouse or out on the shoreline rocks.

People without dogs are also more than welcome to join us, but be warned that dogs are exceedingly happy on the trails, will travel freely through the group, and may get wet and dirty (and they share).


Required Items to Bring:
Sturdy trail shoes or runners will be okay for these trails

clothing appropriate for the weather - including a light jacket or sweater for the cooler evening.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Once at North Vancouver, take Marine Drive to Beacon Lane and turn left/south. Drive a short distance through a neighbourhood and enter park. Drive short distance more to parking lot. People on public transit can take the #250 bus from Park Royal westwards to Horseshoe Bay, and get off at Beacon lane and walk to parking lot.

Notes:

OK for dogs to be off-leash, but should be on-leash around cliff and picnic areas.
